The MX Complex Rate is designed to be 5g to 7g lighter than a normal spring to the working point as shown in the graph. The force rises at a linear velocity after actuation, resulting in the same bottom-out weight as a traditional linear spring. Complex rate springs are hard to find examples in the electronics industry and are tricky and complex to manufacture.

Starting from 63.5C --28g, the operating point is 43g. Force ratio = 3: 4
Starting from 68 C --31g, the operating point is 47g. Force ratio = 3: 4
Starting from 72 C --33g, the operating point is 50g. Force ratio = 3: 4
Starting from 78 C --35g, the operating point is 53g. Force ratio = 3: 4
