Staff Notes
These are Hall Effect key switches (magnetic switches) released by Outemu.
Hall Effect switches are a contactless type that uses built-in magnets to detect actuation.
Therefore, they are not compatible with Cherry MX compatible switches.
This structure allows the switch to recognize how far a key is pressed, enabling features like freely setting the actuation point and variable reset points, commonly known as "Rapid Trigger".
The Outemu Amethyst Magnetic Switch features minimal stem wobble and a pleasant typing feel with clear high-pitched sounds, all at a relatively affordable price, making it an excellent value magnetic switch.
