Staff memo
A rotary encoder is an electronic component that can be input by turning the shaft.
Since it is similar in size to a key switch, it is used in various keyboards.
You can freely assign inputs such as scroll up / down and Page Up / Page Down.
It also has a push switch function, which can be assigned the same input as a key switch.
The difference between each rotary encoder is the difference in shaft length. It is a good idea to choose according to the height of the keycap.
(The left is 22.5 mm high and the right is 20 mm high)
The shape of the shaft is D cut. When looking for a rotary encoder knob, make sure it is a D-cut and consider purchasing it.
The replacement knobs available at Yusha Kobo are as follows.
