Manufacturing process

First, pour the resin into the base of the trees, mountains, and house. At least 10 minutes or more is required for each keycap. Resin-based casting, on the other hand, can take up to 8 hours to cure. After that, the rough edges that came out in the casting process are smoothly ground. Carefully trim each tree and then grind it. It takes about 30 minutes on the base and wood, but especially the space bar profile and Herbts design takes an additional 20 minutes or more to complete the deburring.

Next is the step of handmade painting. Skills are required for detailed expression of wooden foundations, landscapes and mountains. Each profile has a time to be unique. For this reason, all keycaps are required within 30 minutes to 2 hours before moving on to the next item.

I had to try many grass colors to create a realistic nature. It takes 20 to 40 minutes to turf. There are at least 3 types of grass and are covered with 2-5 types of highlights. You can create a forest in 20 minutes to 1 hour with attention to detail such as trees and houses. This step is an important point in this collection.

The keycap moves to the last profile layer step. After pouring into molds of different sizes, place in a paint pressure cooker and allow to dry within 16 hours. Finally, the craftsman tags the serial number and cleans the exterior of the keycap.

A tree with a diameter of 1.5 mm and a height of 3 mm was the challenge this time. Each has three highlights. I don't remember how many times I remade it to make it super realistic. But I made a good one. We created the "Born of Forest artisan keycaps" in our spirit. I hope you like it.
